The Department organized its annual festival, Commxecelsior on 27^th September 2008. The day began with inauguration by our honourable Principal, Dr. Minoti Chatterjee. The festival included five major events namely Ad-mad, Western Dance, Budding Hussainz (Rangoli), Comquest (Commerce Quiz) and group discussion. The festival drew participation from over 40 teams from various colleges of Delhi University and other participating institutes.

The lecture on “Impact of global financial meltdown on Indian economy” was delivered on 27^th November ‘08 by Dr. Vinod Kumar (Dean, International College of Financial Planning). Mr. Akshay Suraka, Alumnus – XLRI Jamshedpur delivered a lecture on “MBA as a career prospect – an insight” on 11^th December. A lecture on MBA as a career option was also delivered on 20^th August 2009 by Mrs. Manju Bhandi is collaboration with IMS. The corporate quiz was held on 4^th September 2009.
