The Hindi Department organised a one -day national seminar on 3rd December 2007 on the theme: “Indian Literature and National Awareness” Dr. Sudha Pandey, Vice –Chancellor, Sanskrit University, Uttarakhand, Haridwar presided over the inaugural session. An Inter College Poetry competition and debate was organised in December 2007. Dr. Harikrishna Devesar was the Chief Guest of the concluding function of the Department on 5th March 2008. “Tulsi Jayanti” was organized by the department on 4th September 2008 and a literary evening of poetry was held on 29th September 2008 on the theme: “Hindi Kavita Ka Safar” |
