University of Delhi Combined Journalism Entrance Test 2012 notification
University of Delhi invites applications for Combined Journalism Entrance Test (C-JET) 2012 which will be held on 03rd June, 2012 between 3.30pm to 5.30pm that leads to admissions at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Kalindi College, Kamala Nehru College, Lady Shri Ram College, Maharaja Agrasen College.
Eligibility: An aggregate of at least 60% marks in XII class examination (55% for SC/ST/CW/PwD categories)
The candidate should also have secured at least 60% marks in English

Off-line forms can be submitted only at DCAC, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi-110023 along with the demand draft in favour of Principal

THEATRE: Directed FRIHET- the annual production (2010) of Kamala Nehru College’s Theatre Society Lakshya which was staged at the Ibsen Theatre Festival held in September 2010 and Fourth Atelier Youth Theatre Week in November 2010. Won various national (SIMC Pune, IIMC Delhi, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur) and Delhi University level Street Play competitions. Awarded “Founders’ Prize-2009” for significant participation in college activities. Performed “Bravely Fought the Queen” (annual stage production of Kamala Nehru College) at Ateliers Youth Theatre Festival and Old World Theatre Festival, two leading Theatre Festivals of Delhi. Performed a street play as a part of the Short+Sweet International Theatre festival held in India Habitat Centre in November 2010. Performed a play on ‘Women & Religion’ at India Habitat Centre for Project19- A National Festival on Sexuality, Rights, Health & HIV AIDS organized by the Youth Parliament Foundation and the Centre for Human Progress. Performed a street play on the importance of consumer awareness at PragatiMaidan for the Youth Festival on Consumer Awareness organized by National Consumer Helpline & VOICEVENTS, supported by Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt. of India. Performed a street play on civic sense and road sense for NDTV GREENATHON in March 2010. Performed a street play celebrating India for an NGO-Josh-based in Trilokpuri.
JOURNALISM A movie- O Boy!- got selected amongst the top 7 movies all over India and was screened at Xavier's College, Kolkata as a part of theater film festival. O Boy! won first prize in the Short Documentary Film category at Mise-en-scene 2011, annual Mass Comm Fest of IP College. Won first prize in On-the-spot Movie Making competition at Mise-en-scene 2011. An independent film by a student- IssRastey Par! - won first prize in Short Documentary Film making section at Leaders For Tomorrow annual summit. |
